There are three different types of transfer options using the Mitel phones:
Blind Transfer: This is a direct transfer to another extension, with no announcement.
1. While on an active call, press the Transfer (Xfer) soft key.
2. Enter the extension number or full 10 digit number that you would like to transfer to.
3. Press the Transfer (Xfer) soft key.
Attended / Consultative Transfer: This is a transfer to an extension where you announce who is calling.
1. While on an active call, press the Transfer (Xfer) soft key.
2. Enter the extension number that you would like to transfer to.
3. Press the dial key and announce the call.
4. Press the Transfer (Xfer) soft key.
Direct to Voicemail Transfer: Transfer a call directly to a voicemail box.
1. While on an active call, press the Transfer (Xfer) soft key.
2. Enter 99, then the extension number you would like to transfer to.
3. Press the Transfer (Xfer) soft key.
